Candidate Exam Day Guide
Everything a candidate needs to prepare, install ProctorEdge Browser, open the exam link, and complete the scheduled exam.
Before Exam Day
Your training provider or ProctorEdge will confirm your exam schedule and send instructions. Read them early so there is enough time to install the browser and contact support if needed.
Confirm your schedule
Check the exam date, time, timezone, exam name, provider name, and support contact details.
Install ProctorEdge Browser
Install the approved ProctorEdge Browser on the computer you will use for the exam. Do this before the exam window opens.
Prepare your environment
Use a stable internet connection, keep your power adapter connected, close unrelated apps, and keep your exam instructions available.
On Exam Day
Wait for the activation window
Your exam link becomes active only during the approved window, for example one hour before the scheduled slot.
Open the link in ProctorEdge Browser
If the link opens in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or another browser, follow the page instructions to reopen it in ProctorEdge Browser.
Complete launch checks
ProctorEdge checks the exam link, schedule, browser, and attempt status before loading the exam.
Take the exam
Stay inside the ProctorEdge Browser window and follow the exam rules shown by your provider or ProctorEdge.
Submit and wait for confirmation
After submission, follow the completion message. Some exams may require review before a final status is shared.
If Something Goes Wrong
Exam not open yet
Check the scheduled time and timezone. Return when the launch window opens.
Wrong browser
Install or open ProctorEdge Browser and use the same exam link there.
Expired link
Contact the support path listed in your exam instructions or ask your training provider for help.
Network problem
Do not repeatedly restart without reading the recovery message. Follow the on-screen support instructions.
Need help before your exam?
Contact ProctorEdge or your training provider before the scheduled slot if installation, timing, or link access is unclear.
