Open Your Exam Link in ProctorEdge Browser

Your exam link is designed to start the exam only through the approved ProctorEdge Browser during your scheduled launch window.

Why Normal Browsers Cannot Start the Exam

Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and other normal browsers do not provide the controlled exam environment required for a ProctorEdge attempt. They may show instructions, but they should not deliver exam content.

Expected behavior

If your exam link opens outside ProctorEdge Browser, use the instructions on that page to install or switch to ProctorEdge Browser. The real exam starts only after ProctorEdge validates your attempt.

Correct Launch Steps

1

Install ProctorEdge Browser

Use the installation link provided in your official exam instructions.

2

Open ProctorEdge Browser

Launch the installed browser from your desktop, Start menu, or provider instructions.

3

Use your exam link during the launch window

Open the same time-bound exam link after it becomes active. If it is too early or expired, the page will show the next safe step.
